چکیده
place the root of the eukaryotic tree within the superior group of Euglenozoa or between Euglenozoa and other eukaryotes [9]. Our analyses show that ATOM represents the missing Tom40 protein in the mitochondria of T. brucei and of other trypanosomatids with no clear link to the bacterial proteins. Given that all eukaryotes analysed to date contain a Tom40 homologue, we propose that all mitochondria of current eukaryotes descended from an ancestral Tom40containing mitochondrial compartment (Figure 1).

The exocyst complex in plants.
Plant cell morphogenesis requires precise regulation of localized cell expansion and cell division. Vectorial exocytosis is a major morphogenetic process in plant cells, intimately interwoven with the dynamics of the cytoskeleton. Small GTPases of the Ras superfamily act as molecular switches participating in the control of both vesicle trafficking (Rab GTPases) and cytoskeleton dynamics (Rho G...
متن کاملAssesment of different DNA extraction methods in medicinal plants
Medicinal plants have high importance in medicine and pharmacogonosy because of their secondary metabolites. Essential oils, antioxidants and flavonoids are the major compounds of many medicinal plants. These compounds especially antioxidants can increase oxidation of DNA in response to wounds. Nowadays, progresses in biotechnology such as molecular markers were used for phylogenetic relationsh...

متن کاملPrediction of Patient’s Response to Cognitive-Behavior Therapy by Artificial Neural Network
Objective: Social anxiety disorder (SAD) is defined as a constant fear of being embarrassed or negatively evaluated in social situations or while doing activities in the presence of others. Several studies have examined the role of certain variables that might predict response to treatment and may affect treatment outcome. The purpose of this study was to identify predictive variables of change...
